Whether you're for the Saints or the Colts, we can guarantee one thing ... both teams are for the Dogs! And why shouldn't they be? The American Cocker Spaniel is as much a fabric of the U.S.A. as American football.
Please share Superbowl Sunday this February 7th with Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue (www.nyabandonedangels.com) and two of our neediest dogs. Pokey loves the Saints while Rhubarb roots for the Colts. Pokey has been rendered completely blind by juvenile cataracts, so he won't be able to watch the game, even on a big screen TV ... but he'll be listening closely to the events of the day, as relayed to him by his pal Rhubarb, who sees perfectly fine, but is in need of an MRI.
Please celebrate Superbowl Sunday with Pokey and Rhubarb by participating in our Superbowl Raffle (drawing to be held on Superbowl Sunday). We are raffling off two Superbowl Baskets, each one containing a team jersey, team leash and collar, team I.D. tag, and team bandana (jersey, collar and bandana are all sized to fit a Cocker Spaniel). When purchasing Raffle chances, please specify whether you would like your Raffle chances to be applied towards the Colts Basket or the Saints Basket. All proceeds from the Saints Basket will benefit Pokey, while all proceeds from the Colts Basket will benefit Rhubarb. The winners of our Superbowl raffle will be posted on Monday and also notified by email.
